Labourdonnais Visit the Victorian Mansion & Tasting
The Domaine de Labourdonnais is an estate of 540 hectares dating back to the 17th century. Find yourself surrounded by its beautiful orchards and wander the path of Christian Wiehe, who built the Château de Labourdonnais between 1856 and 1859.
This grand mansion was restored between 2006 & 2010 and converted into a museum that invites you to discover the 19th-century Mauritian lifestyle as well as its history.
After your museum visit, you will taste the delicious fruit jellies made from the fruits grown in the 45 hectares of fruit orchards of Labourdonnais as well as the rum made here. Savour the original rum and indulge in the fusion range of flavoured rums such as coffee-orange or lemongrass.
